Maili Saba Camp


The camp is located at the beautiful edge of Menengai Crater in Nakuru County. Maili Saba is off Nakuru-Nyahururu Road and it is two and half hours’ drive from Nairobi. It is a great exclusive gateway since it offers the best a traveler wishes for. The camp’s locality is the best that gives a traveler a relaxing atmosphere. Maili Saba Camp is suitable for honeymooners since it offers the atmosphere for that. Oil lamps are set in the restaurant and bar that brings out the romance mood. Maili Saba Camp tents are built separately from each other and this gives privacy to travelers on honeymoon vacation.





Accommodation at Maili Saba Camp

The tented camp is just few minutes from the most visited spectacular bird area on earth (Lake Nakuru).The camp is in a serene environment that leaves one wondering what nature has to offer in its full if taken care of and conserved. The tents are well refurbished and have cosy twin and double beds, private terrace that allows views of the dormant crater (Menengai Crater).The camp can accommodate 24 people on average. In addition to this the camp has a family cottage that accommodates few guests and a children room. This cottage has a microwave, frigde, room service and laundry service.

Conferences and Meetings

Maili Saba can host 50 people on average for conferences or meetings. All the necessary facilities are provided at the camp.


The meals are both local and international cuisines and the local one is a Swahili style a cooking style from the Coast of Kenya. Breakfast is taken in the open air and this makes one have a good experience with nature. The bar is present at the camp and has good drinks to quench one’s thirst.

24 hour security, secure ample parking, swimming pool, fax and telephone facilities as well as a shuttle transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International airport can be provided on request.


Menengai Crater hikes, Nakuru National Park for game drives and bird watching, Hell’s Gate National Park a walk through the gorges, ballooning to nearby attractions, and visit to the geysers and hot springs at Lake Bogoria and geothermal plant in Lake Naivasha.
